Built in 1961, the Sky Ride is located on the Main Midway and transports visitors, if they so choose, from the Main Gate to and area closer to the roller coasters. The ride provides its passengers with a scenic view of the park, Lake Erie and the beautifully landscaped gardens below. An evening ride allows visitors to gaze upon the illuminated Cedar Point.

This ride is subject to frequent closures due to weather conditions, particularly gusty winds and lightning.
