A tree-lined walkway with rock markers along its edges leads to a fountain that trickles water into a pool in front a large curved memorial. The gently arching, white stone memorial bears the names of people killed in Arlington in the line of duty since 1930.

The following fallen officers are honored: James E. Johnson, Champ C. Barnes Sr., Gary D. Harl, Ronald B. Snow, Ronnie M. McAndrew, Jerry J. Crocker, Terry Lynn Lewis, Craig Michael Hanking, Joseph Thomas Cushman, and Richard G. Hosford Jr.

Heroes' Park was dedicated on May 17, 2008.

Heroes' Park is adjacent to the Arlington Police Department West Station, and near a fire training facility.
