Aquia Landing is open year-round and offers parking, public restrooms, picnic tables, 2 picnic shelters, outdoor grills, and a beach on the Potomac River.
Formerly known as Agua-Po Beach, this area underwent extensive restoration work in the 1980's to help curtail severe erosion.
Besides swimming, it is also a popular fishing spot, a natural habitat for marsh birds, and a historic location of the Civil War and the Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.

- April 1 to October 31 - 8AM-8PM
- November 1 to March 31 - 8AM-5:30PM
Note that although swimming is allowed, there is no lifeguard. Have fun, but be sensible.
