Prescott Commons now called Prescott Hall was built in 1916. The stone Tudor/Gothic styled building was built to serve as the dining facility for the then Billings Polytechnic Institute. The building was originally built by students and faculty and was partially funded by Amos L. Prescott of New York City. The college became Rocky Mountain College in 1935 on the merger of Billings Polytechnic Institute and Intermountain Union. The building has been renovated and serves as the admissions office and office of the president. The Grand Hall in the building are used for many receptions.
