The best fish and chips we've ever tasted!!!

We discovered this little waterside treasure during a visit to sunny Whakatane. Situated right on the wharf near the river mouth, the fish is as fresh as it can get, straight off the boats. We chose Hapuka fish and chips...mmmm, delicious! Served on a tray with lemon wedges. Salad and burgers are also available.
Wally the pink and grey Galah entertained us and chatted while we ate.

We really recommend this place, delicious food and friendly excellent service.
