It is 153' in overall height and contains a clock room and bell room complete with a tuned bell upon which melodies are played on special town occasions. Walk around the structure and notice how the back contains a spiral staircase enclosed on the side.

On special occasions the Scituate Historical Society opens the tower and you can climb to the top, which I have done.
