When I showed up to visit Los Tapatios Taco Truck, they were just opening. A second truck was leaving a nearby parking area headed for a second location at Capitol Avenue and Story Road, near the Pep boys in East San Jose, where they operate from 9AM-11PM. This truck operates from 8AM to 4PM.
There is a decent outdoor picnic area next to the truck with about five tables and benches. It is next to HiWay 101, so it can be a little noisy. I tried a couple of their tacos with pork. They come open faced on a 4 inch soft, cornmeal taco, a slice of lime, and a couple of carrot slices. They were tasty, but unspectacular in my mind.
