More commonly known as the "outdoor pool", Centennial Pool was built to celebrate BC's centennial in 1958. It has undergone extensive renovations but remains one of the most popular places in town on a hot day.
They offer swim lessons in the mornings, a small slide and a diving board. There is a separate wading pool for little ones.
Concession is operated by the Association for Community Living, and provides summer employment for persons with disabilities.
Open and close dates below are approximate - it depends on the school calendar.
The change rooms are handicap accessible but there is no ramp into the pool for wheelchairs, and there is no sling or method for moving persons who can not move on their own.
