To get to the payphone, walk through the front entrance and turn right. If you go in the left entrance it is right to the left. Atsion Recreational Center and lake serve as the focal point of Atsion within Wharton State Forest, managed by NJDEP & the division of parks and forestry. The best part of this relaxing and fun site is a beach..w/o the drive to the ocean!
