This stone memorial is at the Winslow Twp. Municipal Complex and it is in front of the police station to the right side of the main entrance found on the left side of the complex.
The upper angled part of the memorial reads:
"In valor there is hope, may
their efforts not be in vain."
In memory of officers who have
given their lives in the line of duty
having lived and died preserving
law and order while serving
Winslow Township.
"
The lower half of this object reads:
"LEST WE FORGET
Ptl. Danile J. Calabrese Jr. #95
killed in the line of duty
June 12, 1994."
There is also a tree at the very foot of the grassy area where cars entered dedicated by the Town of Elm for this fallen officer. Officer Calabrese was shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call at a lounge. The suspect shot Officer Calabrese point blank range and then committed suicide.
