Situated on the B6480 between Wennington and Low Bentham. This also is a waymark for a cut bench mark.

First open on the 3rd May 1932, the registered collector is C. R. Smith.

Check out the image dispalying the fees. It would cost you 1/- (one shilling, 5pence equivalent or 8c) if you wanted to pass with a horse drawn wagon. or 5d (2p or 3cents) to drive 20 cattle past.

There is no indication when the toll ceased to collect road taxes.

One gate stoop remains outside the building, with a benchmark cut in it. See seperate waymark.

I have rated this a 3 beacuse though there is a board displaying prices, there is no indication other than this that this is a toll house.
