One of two large, decorated manhole covers near the Seattle Center. They are apparently part of an ongoing project in Seattle to replace boring covers with cool, artsy covers. I would say that they are definitely succeeding. This particular cover features a whale. Not just any whale though. A whale that looks like it should go on a totem pole. Just think of what those Native Americans could have done with a couple hundred manhole covers! More information on this cover can be found here
