This building is home for both IOOF Livingston Lodge #290 and Rebekah Charity Home #112. The IOOF meet on Tuesdays at 7:30p.m. which is located at 112 1/2 Locust Street in downtown Fairbury.
Along with the neighboring pharmacy, this building has the local distinction of containing the last of the lower level business district from Fairbury's early existence.
Originally, the lower area Locust Street was teeming with merchant and professional businesses. All remaining lower level businesses were closed off and sealed up during the 1960's.
Today the lower level is used as a youth game room and since 1996 seasonally converted into a Haunted House.
