C & E Canners Water Tank - Hammonton, NJ

One of the more rare sites, a private water tower used for industry and not community. This can be found on Mays Landing Road, the couple mile stretch of road which connects Rt. 73 to 322 and often used to go to the shore.

If you are heading SW, shore bound, this tower is a few hundred feet off to the right and in back of the cannery. it is high but with a smaller tank, relatively speaking. I was able to get close in my car, pulling in to the side of a convenience store but had to stop at a fence. The tower is of the four-legged variety with a center shaft for sucking up water.
