This is part of the North Wales Film and Television Trail. The plaque is on the wall of the craft shop by the river in the centre of the village. It reads as follows:

'The Inn of the Sixth Happiness
Many scenes for Inn of the Sixth Happiness were filmed in this area in 1958. The flim, starring Ingrid Bergman, told the story of Gladys Aylward who worked as a missionary in China.
