There are three cornerstones for this church, each one stacked on top of the other. They are from 1898, 1936 and 1969,73. It seems there has been multiple constructions

Although the original structure no longer stands, the church was rebuilt, and after 4 years, this site was still placed on the NRHP. It is now a single level, modern church with a modest steeple rising from its center. I visited on Sunday at the time when the final service was letting out. They viewed me with suspicion and questioned why I was taking pictures. I explained and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about with regards to the NRHP. They had no idea they were on the NRHP and some didn't even notice the cornerstones. The town is very small and this is the only religious structure in the area. There is no information on the internet about this place.
Year of construction: 1898

Full inscription:
Interestingly enough, then name changed slightly over the years. in 1898, it was A.M.E.C, then in October 11, 1936 it was called Grants A.M.E. Church (with the above date inscribed as well), the in 1969, 73 (that is how it reads) it was Grant A.M.E Church (with those two dates below) That last one is black and the other two are grayish.
