A narrow bitumen road up the steep face of Mt Sheila with great views at the top. This is a paired waymark with Mt Bruce in the Pilbara.
You will need a 4 wheel drive to get to the top, as it is very steep, but it is an easy drive. Mt Bruce on the other hand requires a walk and the recommended time is 6 hours return.
Bruce and Sheila is old fashioned Australian vernacular for a man and a woman. Bruce and Sheila may well be the type of people who spend a lot of their time perched on a bar stool at the local hotel!
