This rose garden is very close to a small vineyard and easily accesible from Main street.

This rose garden created and maintained by the city of Grapevine Parks & Recreation department, Grapevine Garden club and Texas cooperative extension are on e of the many research gardens throughout the United States and Canada.

The goal of these gardens is to identify tough, easy care rose varieties with a high degree of disease and insect resistance, During the field test, the roses will never be sprayed for insects or diseases fertilized pruned deadheaded or receive extra irrigation

Beginning in 2008, Each Plant will be evaluated rated and the data reported to the Texas A &M cooperative extension research center. The rose varieties, which will do well under these harsh growing conditions will be awarded the Earth kind Designations
