WM 901811 - Staunton, Va - Train Cabooses on Waymarking.com

Built by Western Maryland, WM 901811 is a cupola style cabooses once used by the Chessie railroad. Today, it is one of three on permanent display outside the Depot restaurant at the Staunton Train Station in Staunton, Va.

At one time, it was a Chessie Safety caboose with the safety slogan reading "SAFETY - IS IT FIRST IN YOUR MIND."

It is viewable only from the outside and actually still sits on an unused stretch of track that has been closed off and is now part of the parking lot outside the restaurant.
