This mosaic features the Camden Rivershark with the Campbell name featured prominently in the background. It is on the left wall if you are facing the concession stand and your back is to the stadium. The mosaic was created by Network Arts. The company's name and the names of the artist can be found on the first mural which is at the first base line concession stand, left wall. All three mosaics on the main concourse have a common theme, that of celebrating the stadium.
Campbell's Field is one of many revitalization projects undertaken by the Camden City in the last decade to bring back what was once a great and important city. The stadium in on what is called the "Camden Waterfront". The first mosaic can be found by waking through the front entrance, climbing the front stairs, and making an immediate left. Walk a few seconds until the first concession stand is on your left side and on the right wall you will see this waymark. The coordinates for the entrance to the stadium are: N 39° 56.984 W 075° 07.669. Parking is everywhere around the stadium and only $3.
Campbell's Field is home of the Camden Riversharks, an independent league baseball team which falls between single and double A ball. There are mosaics all over the place along the waterfront, especially at the Aquarium which features a huge, expansive and very beautiful aquatic mosaic.
As mentioned, Network Arts is responsible for this art work. They even have one in the school I teach.
