Location of Marker: CR-15, 1 mile S. of FM-277 (& loc. of Stage Station Marker), 7 miles E. of US-83, 15½ miles S. of Canadian.

BUFFALO WALLOW BATTLE GROUND
Here on September 12th, 1874, two scouts and four soldiers defeated 125 Kiowa and Comanche Indians.
