This cornerstone has Roman numerals for the year 1884. It is on the Allegheny County Courthouse in Pittsburgh, at the corner of Ross Street and 5th Avenue. It is at approximately eye level, and, thus, is easy to reach.

The Allegheny Courthouse is a beautiful stone building designed by the architect, H. H. Richardson. There is a waymark that has more details in it, here: (visit link) . The link provided below to another waymark is mine to the lions on the Grant Street side of the building.
