This fiberglass lighthouse is ten-feet tall, and is part of the public art project being used to "generate excitement and tourism" around the town of Irondequoit. This particular lighthouse is sponsored by the Irondequoit Rotary Club. Keeping in mind that the nature of the Rotary Club is the generous betterment of the community from within, this lighthouse portrays in detail the very community the Rotary Club serves.
