The Mortimer Webster House was built in 1866 for Mortimer Webster an early real estate developer in Stillwater and originally from New York. The house was built in an Italianate style with a cupola at its top. The wood siding on the house has been rusticated to simulate the appearance of cut stone. The house is well maintained and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
