This is no longer an active outhouse. It was moved from its original location to the back of a community building in Potter park in 2000.
The text of the plaque says:
This rare village outhouse was donated to the Perinton Historical Society by Arnold and Anne Smeenk. It was moved to this location from 70 East Church Street by Matthews Building Movers on November 6, 2000. Restoration was done by William F. Matthews. This is a partnership project of the Perinton Historical Society, the Village of Fairport, and the Urban Renewal/Industrial Development Agency Board.
