The memorial has plaques bearing the names of area veterans who lost their lives in each of the wars. Along with these plaques are plaques with different sayings and quotes contemporaneous with each war. The memorial is topped with a stainless steel spire.

These plaques from a Wall of Honor that bears the names of the more 100 service personnel who attended Stillwater area schools and lost their lives in times of war.
Veterans, living and dead, whose names appear on the granite walkway pavers, have been honored by family or friends.
