I found this disk with my family on a day trip exploring Marblehead. The disk is located in Chandler Hovey Park at the north end of Marblehead Neck, a rocky peninsula that extends into the Atlantic Ocean. You can access Marblehead Neck via Ocean Ave. Drive to the end of Ocean Ave and turn left into Follet St. Follow Follet St until you come to an end, turn right and park at Lighthouse Ln. You can't miss it, just look (or ask) for the old unique Marblehead Lighthouse Tower.

The disk is sitting in the top of a rock outcrop, 117 feet north-west of the Marblehead Lighthouse Tower. It is a U.S. ENGINEER DEPARTMENT disk and the stamping is STA NECK ELEV. In the middle of the disk is a triangle with a dot in the middle. The disk has some minor scratches but overall the disk is in a good condition. This disk is not listed in the NGS database.

But there are two other bench marks at Chandler Hovey Park which are listed in the NGS database:
- MY5003 MARBLEHEAD NECK, a horizontal control disk including two reference marks
- MY5045 MARBLEHEAD LIGHTHOUSE, the unique lighthouse itself

Many thanks, good luck and happy waymarking,
King Hubi
