The Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games are held on the first weekend of June. Attendance regularly exceeds 50,000. Activities and Events include:
Highland Games at Professional, Amateur, and Novice levels, as well as Scottish Highland Dance and Scottish National Dance competitions. There's lots of music: Music for entertainment (both international bands and bands from Texas), and also Solo Bagpipe and Bagpipe Band competitions. There's a Scotch Whisky Tasting and a Seminar about Scotch. Othe seminars include Genealogy, History, and Gaelic Language Other Competitions include Shortbread, Scotch Ale Brewing, and Bonniest Knees, and there's a Photo Contest. Of course there's a Gathering of the Clans and there's a children's area featuring things like a climbing wall.

Friday: Adults $10.00 (Includes Friday Night Ceilidh), Teen (13-17) $6.00, Children (6-12) $4.00
