A brand new memorial in a very patriotic town in North Georgia.

This brand new memorial was dedicated on May 31, 2009 by the citizens of Woodstock Georgia to honor their veterans in an impressive ceremony in this beautiful town park in the center of town. The surrounding area is truly a beautiful place with a fountain, time capsule, gorgeous gazebo, across the street from a historic train depot that now serves as a restaurant and many more great things to visit in this small town.
The text of the memorial reads as follows:
WOODSTOCK MEMORIAL
To the men and women of Woodstock who served in the Armed Forces of our country preserving our freedom and our way of life.
Erected in their honor May 2009.
