This stand alone brick building was built in 1939 as the post office to serve residents of Toms River. The building has been retired from service and is now home to O.C.E.A.N., a 40 year-old non-profit organization providing social services to the residents of Ocean County. The post office sign has been covered with a thin black and white sign for O.C.E.A.N, but the building's date stone is still in place to identify it as an old post office.
