Long Description:
This monster oil can is a very accurate representation of the oil cans produced by the thousands in Rocanville By Symons Metal Works in days gone by. This can was built right in Rocanville by Goodman Steel Ltd, to honour the contribution made to the community by Ernest Symons. Symons' oilers were sold far and wide and have now become collector items. (* I have a complete set of brand new ones!!) Please follow the links for more info on the oil can and the man behind it!! Found right on Hwy 8 at Rocanville, 25 km north of Moosomin, SK.
