They carry hiking shoes, tents, and clothing, for sale or rental.
They are in the downtown area, catering to college students and office employees anxious to get away. Been in the same location since 1968. The Chalet is an authentic, independent mountain shop with 40 years of experience specific to the Pikes Peak region.
Open 7 days a week. Their emphasis is climbing, hiking, and backcountry skiing.
