The Grove Cafe is located at 124 Main St., Ames, Iowa. The daily lunch specials are some of the best value for the money deals in town. There is an inscription on the wall that reads "Just like home - You don't always get what you want." Best known in town for the HUGE breakfast pancakes. One of the pancakes here would be 2 maybe 2 1/2 pancakes anywhere else. Open Mon-Sat 6 AM- 2 PM and Sun. 6AM-Noon.
The owner also raises Appaloosa horses & there are plenty of pictures around to attest to this.
