St. Wenceslas, Stara Boleslav - Statues of Historic Figures on Waymarking.com

Wenceslas I, Duke of Bohemia (907-935), is the patron saint of Czech lands, so it is very common to see a statue of him around here.
Just this place is somewhat special: it was here in Stara Boleslav castle, where Wenceslas has been murdered on September 28th, 935.
The statue in Stara Boleslav is the artwork of Stanislav Sucharda, well known Czech sculptor of the 20th century beginning.
