As the old real estate adage goes, the most important thing is location, location and location... Yes, if you are skyscraper-lover as me, a it's a perfect location for you! During swimming you can take pleasure in great vistas to Chicago's waterfont skyline with landmarks of John Hancock Tower and Lake Point Tower.
Perhaps this is, together with free and easy access, why small Olive Park beach attracts lot of swimmers during hot season. Its proximity to famous Chicago's Navy Pier, hotels and the posh Lake Point Towers keeps it a popular summer spot. The beach is also popular with triathletes looking to train for the aquatic portion of the race. Beware, the beach does not have bathrooms or a field house...
