The Girl with Paper Swallow or only Swallow (Vlaštovka) is popular artwork of young Polish sculptor (and former student of Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague) Magdalena Poplawska. The Swallow is plastic statue of young girl with paper swallow in the hand which is sitting on outer cornice of the Hall of Services of the National Library in Klementinum.
The Swallow got soon extraordinary favour of tourists and library's visitors. Statue, originated from AAAD student's work exhibition "Ad Clementinum", became so popular that took permanent place in Klementinum even after closing of the exhibition...
