Quick Description: This is a beautiful fountain graced by a gorgeous sculpture of three dolphins leaping out of the water. It can be found along Thomas Street, directly off of Route A1A at the Postiano building.

Long Description:This area has a definite Italian theme but this appears to be the one item seemingly out of place. I wonder if if was placed before the building and the surroundings were completed or maybe it is far away enough to not be included in the whole Italian villa thing they have going on there. There are no identifying trade marks or other names which might indicate the sculptor or date of its installment. There is also a very nice brick paved pathway that runs to, through and beyond the circle to the street.
The fountains do not go very high but there were pretty to look at. I walked up from the beach and saw this about 20 feet or so from the sand. This is the only sculpture I have found in this area and especially this close to the beach. I have witnessed lots of pods of Dolphins steering by close to the beach so I wonder if this was the inspiration for the sculpture. If you walk past the dolphins you will shortly enter the "courtyard" of the hotel/villa and see an arch and parking lot on the right and the building on the left. There is not much more to see except buildings and condos and lots and lots of ocean.
