This nice small pier in Marechal Deodoro, built the first half of 20th century, served originally for very important ship transport on the Manguaba Lagoon (connecting also town with Atlantic ocean). But modern times - especially roads, cars and trucks changed the main function of pier... Today boys are jumping into water here, small touristic ships are anchoring here or local fishermen are sometimes using it...
The Marechal Deodoro is built from concrete, is over 40 meters long and equipped by public lighting.
