"South Catamount, central Colorado
South Catamount Dam is on South Catamount Creek in Teller County, Colorado and is used for drinking water and hydroelectric power purposes. It has been been there since 1935. It has a normal surface area of 98 acres. It is owned by the City Of Colorado Springs.
South Catamount is of earthen construction. The core is assumed to be upstream facing, metal. Its height is 100 feet with a length of 1156 feet. Maximum discharge is 6582 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 3975 acre feet. Normal storage is 2604 acre feet. It drains an area of 5.94 square miles. "
