Gravelly Lake Old Settlers Cemetery, in Lake City, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Pierce County, WA. It was founded by Frank Clark, probably in the early 1860s, and contains about 200 graves. The cemetery is in poor condition, with many of the stones broken or knocked over, and with grass and brush overtaking many of the graves. Some of the graves are marked with simple wooden crosses (see photo).
