The front of the Black Marble monument has a representation of a partial American Flag in the center with a laurel wreath in the middle of the flag. In the Top right are the seals of the 5 branches of service. The inscription reads:
In Peace You Served as Our Defender, In Battle Our Protector, and in Death, a Reminder that Liberty is still Our Greatest Strength.
Dedicated in Honor of All who Served in the Armed Forces of Our Country in the 20th Century
Duty Honor Country
On the back of the Flag representation is the dedication that reads:
Erected by American Legion Posts 25 & 30
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1165
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6
Order of the Purple Heart
Dedicated July 4 1990
On the rest of this marker and on the back marker, is a list of every veteran's name.
The 5 flagpoles fly the American flag and the flag of the dedicating organizations.
