(Taupo Orienteering Club) Spa Thermal Park, 3 km NE of centre of Taupo. Rolling open park; pine/native trees; plus steep bush-covered slopes to the Waikato River.
Maps from Taupo Information Centre and Event Centre. $5.00 ($3 children)

The course will enable Taupo region residents and visitors to try orienteering at a time that suits them. Going around an orienteering course is an interesting way of exercising. You can run, jog or walk, go as fast as you can, or take your time and enjoy the surroundings. It is also a good way of cross training if you are into other sports.

Maps, printed with a clip card on the back, are available from Taupo Events Centre, the Taupo Visitor Centre and the library.
Difficulty level: 4 courses easy - hard (1.5km - 5.6km)

Course length: 1.5km - 5.6kms
