This water tower is located on the Moffett Field Naval Air Station, now Ames Research Center. The tower is located in the shadow of Hangar One, a Naval Historical Monument.

Since there is a fence around this water tower, coordinates were obtained by calculating a midpoint between two coordinates taken on either side of the tower.
