Nice web of hiking trails. Some paved, others gravel. Many bridges across the swampy areas. Parts along side of the Muckalee river. Ample spots to sit and view wildlife. Bird houses in area. Local fishing area. Lot's of mosquitoes and yellow flies--bring repellant. Area is swampy and some sections can be wet after a hard rain. One of the areas best nature areas close to the city. Not far from Chehaw Park and Wildlife Zoo. There are signs pointing toward the park off of North Hampton Rd. Parking area and drive to the park is gravel. There are two entrances. Coordinates on this site are the parking area closest to the river.
