The World War II Memorial consists of stone monument in the shape of the Roman numeral 2 "II" with the seals of each branch of service on it and next to this is a stone monument with a metal globe on top of it. The monument is inscribed:

World War II Memorial

Dedicated to the military veterans who served our country in war and peace, to protect and preserve our freedom.  A nation conceived in liberty and justice.  November 9th, 2007.
