The Edmond water tower is the "largest water tower in the country"  built in 1986 it is 218 feet high and has a capacity of half a million gallons. Manufactured by Chicago Bridge and Iron Company. A water tower in Union, New Jersey claims the title also but only by design. The tower in Edmond is taller and holds more water. The World’s Tallest Water Sphere in Union, New Jersey is a sphere and the tower in Edmond is a spheroid .
