First collection of Czechoslovak post stamps was issued on 18.12.1918. It contained 2 stamps with denomination 5 and 10 haleru (hellers), than came next with bigger value. Author of the painting was famous artist Alfons Mucha. On the stamps was the typical prague panorama with Prague Castle - Hradcany and Church of St. Nicholas at right side. Picture for each stamp was the same, only color changed with denomination 5h - green, 10h - red, 50h - blue, 1kcs (korun) - black. First Czechoslovak post stamps hadn't edge perforation.
