Let's call this a moderate hike, although might be considered on the difficult side of that rating. Follow an old logging road to the trail head. At the trail head (look for the loo, as the road does continue on) you get a test of your stamina right away. After the initial couple hundred meters, the trail becomes a little less steep, but it's grade is pretty consistent throughout.Total distance is 1.7 KM according to the website, which is a little less then my GPS recorded. The view of the valley is wonderful. Looking the other direction you see the Rockies and Fisher Peak, one of the major stops for hiking in the area.
