The Sinking Waters trail is a well kept secret for Warriors Path State Park in that many local folks do not even know about it. I have lived 20 years in two different houses within ten miles of the trailhead - and never visited until this year. Spied the reference on the park hiking trails map

Park at N 36° 30.988 W 082° 28.417 (You are Here! Waymark WM5YZP) and take the trails straight back (both right branches are loops) to the wetlands boardwalk (Waymark WM5YTZ). Then proceed to the coords...
