This Smokey Bear is about one tenth mile past the Penitencia Creek entrance station to Alum Rock Park. Take Penitencia Creek Road into the Park or you will miss Smokey, as the Alum Rock Avenue entrance connects to Alum Rock Falls Road after the Smokey sign.
